Knowledge-based system developed for the Santa Catarina Power Company (CELESC - Centrais Elétricas de Santa Catarina) for the capture and use of expert knowledge in low voltage energy distribution.

DW Distribution

The Data Warehouse Distribution is a management platform with indicators about energy distribution from the Santa Catarina Power Company (Centrais Elétricas de Santa Catarina - CELESC). It started with a R&D project, 2000-2001 cycle. Some of the project’s beneficiaries are planners, engineers, CELESC managers, clients, and the National Energy Generation System (Sistema Nacional de Geração de Energia).

This project’s purpose is to fulfill the need for information for decision making on energy distribution. To do that, data from diverse systems are extracted and then consolidated on the data repository, then organized to offer flexibility and high performance to the analytical processes. The data is available to the public through search and analysis tools.
