SIGA/FIOCRUZ Platform
SIGA Platform is the SIGA-FIOCRUZ version of STELA Platform, composed by a set of systems, information and architecture, configured in order to computerize the processes associated to the management of Oswaldo Cruz Foundation’s graduate and doctorate courses.
SIGA Platform is a set of academic and administrative management systems for FIOCRUZ’s following courses: professional education, specialization and master (named, respectively, as lato sensu and stricto sensu in Brazil). The platform aims for managing information and processes related to the various authors involved with the conduction of courses from these levels. The platform provides instruments for planning, controlling, decision making, evaluation and research, according to specific interests from each author involved with these levels.
The set of systems for the master level attends the courses of academic master, professional master and professional doctorate, on presence and distance molds. The systems attend external public, candidates, students, teachers, secretary employees and coordinators.
The set of systems for the specialization level attends the courses of medical residence, specialization, improvement and training, also on presence and distance molds. The systems attend external public, candidates, students, teachers, secretary employees and coordinators.
The set of systems for health professional education attends the courses offered by Escola Politécnica and Instituto Oswaldo Cruz. These courses have a basic education level and can be classified as professionalizing courses according to taxonomy suggested by the Brazilian’s Basis and Guidelines Law (Lei de Diretrizes e Bases - LDB). The systems attend external public, candidates, students, teachers, secretary employees and coordinators.
